English Teacher


Come and join Kowabunga! Education centre as a Teacher! Feel free to be as crafty and imaginative as possible when applying as we encourage creativity (even in our application process).

You should have the following qualities:

* Passionate - the love for imparting knowledge and values to the young ones
* Approachable - always happy to listen and talk to parents and students
* Loving - be a kind and nurturing person
* Smiley - always have a smile to share
* Bachelor of Education or an Honours degree together with a Post Graduate Certificate of Education or TESOL qualifications. University degree holder of a reputable University will be favorably considered
* At least one year’s teaching experience (volunteer work is acceptable)
* Native English speaker
* Willingness to work on weekend days and/or weekday evenings (this is crucial, must have a flexible schedule)
* Possess a flair for writing
* Mature, responsible, patient and positive - energetic a plus
* Must have a great sense of humor, we like to laugh and have FUN


Teaching duties

* Conduct classes, lessons and/or activities as assigned and carry them out according to the curriculum
* Prepare and conduct one to one Intensive sessions as and when required
* Monitor the performance of students
* Write students’ progress reports at the end of each term
* Follow up and attend to queries relating to students
* Help maintain a healthy class enrolment
* Build a strong rapport with parents and students
* Provide feedback on lesson plans and worksheets, new ideas and activities to Centre Manager
