Office Manager


As an Office Manager with PSC, you will be part of a dedicated team of professional individuals at the forefront of merging Management Consulting and Technology into unique business solutions for our clients.

Responsibilities
We are seeking top performing qualified customer and sales representatives to join PSC’s Singapore team. Applicants must be willing to learn new ideas, techniques and systems. He/she must be flexible and willing, on an as-needed basis, to commute to client sites in the performance of their duties. He/she must be keenly aware of the value and confidentiality issues of maintaining strict confidence in dealing with propriety information. Position requires no relocation at this time.
Your primary responsibility and measured deliverables will be to support Project Managers in providing customer care to existing client companies, appointment setting with potential clients and pro-actively seeking out new business opportunities for PSC using a variety of methods including but not limited to cold calling, focused mailings, attending trade shows, and participation in industry specific user groups and forums. The successful candidate will be expected to work closely in constant communication with assigned Project Managers in identifying client needs and identifying the appropriate personnel to meet those needs. The prospective candidate will supervise office activities and staff to achieve maximum expense control and productivity; develop procedures and policies for office activities, such as filing, dictating, records maintenance, typing, word processing, and faxing and mail distribution; and be responsible for the maintenance of office equipment and supplies.
Position Requirements

- Must have BA/BS, MBA preferred, with a sales background
- Any IT/or biotech experience a major plus
- Experience in cold calling potential clients
- Must be a self-starter and not willing to accept an initial no response from a potential client as a final answer
- Must have strong written and oral communication skills
- Must have strong interpersonal skills
- Must have strong work ethic
- A consistent top performer
- Keen awareness and highly responsive to client needs
- Well organized
- Willing to learn
- Willing to travel as required

Preferred Qualifications

The ideal candidate should also possess one or more of the following:

- Outside (non-retail) sales experience, i.e., requiring the development of a customer base.
- Pharmaceutical or medical sales
- Experience in the biotech/pharma industry
- Experience and proficient with Microsoft product software including Word, Excel, Access, and Project
- Writing client proposals and/or other professional documents
- Demonstrated success in influencing a customer group
- Experience developing and sustaining a customer base
- Proven ability to positively impact sales in territory
- Ability to comprehend complex products of a scientific nature
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
