| Job Description |
ACCOUNTANTS (JUNIOR TO SENIOR POST), 5 VACANCIES
Title: Accountant (Financial Accounting)
Duties:
o Oversees the general and cost accounting functions including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, inventory and fixed asset, inter-company transactions
• To ensure effective and efficient management of general and cost accounting functions as well as taxation and management reporting.
o Ensures timely and accurate management and government reporting
o Manages cash flow to meet company objectives and taxation functions
o Liaise with external auditors
o Ensures effectiveness of internal controls through set-up and implementation of relevant processes and ensuring compliance by business units
o Ensures compliance with established guidelines pertaining to the Sarbanes-Oxley Act
o Takes the lead in identifying key areas of processes for improvement
o Able to creatively re-engineer processes
o Ensures proper and effective documentation of processes, policies and procedures
Requirements:
o College degree; preferably in accountancy
• At least 3 years solid experience in financial accounting, preferably in the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry
• Certified Public Accountant
• Experience in JDE / Hyperion / Cognos preferred
• Financial/ leadership, management skills
• Strategic, conceptual and analytical thinking
• Results and process orientation
• Negotiation and influencing skills
• Customer and market analysis
