| Job Description |
Process of orders and quotations.
· Premium orders turnaround time and go through system for allocation of stock
to fill and release for pick/pack.
· Order releases.
· Correspondence/Handling of enquiries on parts:
· Stock availability and pricing - through email, fax and telephone.
· Orders/shipment status
· Parts search - supersession and status
· Work through all available information sources for parts recommendation
· Work with material planners to check further with plant: if information sources exhaust
in this office, expedite on parts delivery/lead-time
· Enlist help from service engineers on technical enquiries that are not available from
information sources
· Material allocation and expediting.
· Check for L/C and funds status with finance
· To get customer to amend L/C if needed
· Match funds receive with orders and release for shipment
· Co-ordinate with warehouse on pick/pack shipment date
· Co-ordinate with forwarders - (in-house and outside) for booking of shipment by air/sea.
· Any job related/project assign by immediate superior.
· Perform any other duties as assigned from time to time by the supervisor.
Minimum Requirements:
· GCE ‘O’ level
· Minimum 1-2 years relevant customer service experience
· PC literate
· Able to work independently and handle work pressure
· Those technically inclined will have an added advantage
· Good communication skills
