| Job Description |
Account Assistant Position 1: Accounts Assistant-HQ Finance
The Challenges
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support in the department. Duties will include budgeting, compiling reports, document processing and filing, data entry, supporting the AP and AR functions and any other accounting and administrative duties.
The Requirements:
• GCE 'A' level / Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent
• Proficient in MS Office applications, especially Excel
• Experience in using SAP will be an added advantage
• Meticulous and highly organized
• Good interpersonal skills
• Motivated and a good team player
Working location: Commonwealth
Working hours: Mon-Fri, 9am to 6pm.
Position 2: Accounts Assistant, General Ledger
The Challenges
The candidate shall work in the Finance Shared Services center and shall be responsible for discharging the following duties:
- Handle day-to-day financial matters, month end and year end accounts closing;
- Prepare monthly and year-end audit schedules;
- Confirm mthly inter-company transactions and ensure inter-company balances are settled on a regular basis;
- Maintain profile for research projects, track budget utilization, timely reporting of the spending status, and submission of fund request to funding organizations
- Prepare Bank Reconciliation and resolve reconciling items;
- Responsible for preparing GST and statistical submissions to local authorities;
The Requirements:
• Minimum Diploma in Accounting / Business / Commerce, with at least 4 years of relevant working experience
• Proficiency in MS Office such as MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Hands-on experience with SAP System will be an added advantage.
Working location: Novena
Working hours: Mon-Fri, 9am to 6pm.
Position 3: Account Assistant, Polyclinics
The Challenge
You will assist in the daily financial operations of the AR team, as well as provide guidance to clinic operations colleagues. In addition, you will follow-up on invoices/credit notes and handle billings, bank-in payments, payment queries and patient refunds. Besides, you will be handling the monthly AR closing and statistics reporting.
The Requirements:
• Diploma Holder, preferably in accounting
• Minimum of 2 years of account receivables experience
• Good communications and interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently, yet a team-oriented player in delivering results and meeting business needs in a fast paced and demanding environment
• Strong working knowledge of MS office applications
Location: Commonwealth Lane
Working hours: Mon-Fri, 9am to 6pm.
