| Job Description |
Our client is a well established European Manafucturing MNC located in Jurong Area.
Salary: $4000 to $5000
Work Days: 5 Days (8am to 5pm, Mon to Fri)
Location: Jurong
Transport: Provided at Boon Lay MRT Station
Requirements
- Conduct day-to-day routine EHS activities for the maintenance of Environment, Health and Safety Management System (EMS), with the assistance from the EMS Steering and Working Committees.
- Organise and conduct EHS training, promotional or other communication activities to enhance EHS competence and awareness amongst employees.
- Organise and ensure timely EHS inspections and audits are carried out, findings are rectified and closed appropriately.
- Liaise with the relevant authorities and/or external organisations to ensure that the legal and other requirements are up to date and that the organisation is adhering to them.
- Conduct risk assessment and environmental aspect evaluation with relevant department heads to identify, control and manage risks and aspects to their lowest, acceptable levels.
- Review management programmes, targets and objectives yearly and ensure that the organisation meets the established targets and objectives.
- Overall control of hazardous substances, contractors and work permits.
- Prepare the Emergency Response Team members to deal with the various types of scenarios established by the Steering Committee and take active role in Business Continuity Management programme
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering
- 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience
- MOM Registered Safety Officer / Workplace Safety and Health Officer
- Familiar with ISO14001, OHSAS18001 and ISO9001
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- May travel within Asia Pacific region in a short notice
- Singaporean and PR only
