Senior / Project Engineer
Job Responsibilities
- Assist Project Manager to oversee all project relating matters in our range of wireless telecommunication products.
- This includes all documentation associated with the product design open issues list tracking, monitoring product specifications and synchronizing engineering activities between various engineering departments in company’s local and overseas Research and Development Centres.
- Work closely with software development teams to understand and monitor development progress.
- Communicating and updating customers during project reviews and discussion on development status.
- Liaise with various stakeholders from across the company's overseas research and developmnet centtre and production plants
- Understand customer needs and translate them into product definition documentations. Detect risk, pre-empt problems and propose recovery actions. Adhere to project schedules and timelines.
Job Requirements
- Degree in electronic engineering/ communication/ computer science or related discipline.
- At least 2 years of software experience in reasearch and development field or Telco company for Product development. Experience in project management/ new product introduction/ product development projects. Experience in embedded software preferred.
- Understand project specifications, engineering standards and full product life cycle control.
- Able to work directly with customers and manage projects and is committed to project schedules through high level of integrity and ownership. Ability to detect risk, pre-empt problems and propose recovery actions.
- Billingual in English and Mandarin and able to understand Cantonese.
