Solution Architect/Software Engineer (C++, SQL)
Job Responsibilities
- Web portal design, development and testing
- Monitor and tuning of system performance
- Prepare system documentation, specifications, release / recovery procedures and test cases
Job Requirement
- Degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Electronic Engineering or equivalent
- 3-5 years system development and web-application development
- Proficient in SQL Server (e.g. MS SQL, MySQL), C++, .NET, PHP, JavaScript
- Knowledge of network programming and web service
- Experience in database system analysis and designs (e.g. database optimization, mirroring, failover clustering, store-proc implementation, database synchronization and backup, load-balancing, resilience and data protection)
- Familiar with Visual Studio 2003-2008, Linux and Windows platforms (e.g. Windows Server 2003)
- Good knowledge of OO design, design patterns and UML methodologies
- Added advantage: RSS and XML based technologies such as XHTML, XSL and SOAP, embedded software development (WinCE / Linux), image compression, data streaming, Microsoft Certified Professional, Cisco certification, VMware Server, Perl and Python
