| Job Description |
Commodity Manager
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Work with business stakeholders and Global Category Managers, as applicable, to define business needs of 3rd party products and services
2.Development of appropriate sourcing strategy for 3rd party products and services to meet the business needs working with Global Category Managers, as applicable
3.Executing the procurement process to implement the strategy
4.To manage the procurement process from strategy execution through to supplier management to effectively manage the three core elements of cost, service and risk
5.To provide supplier market intelligence to business and Global Category Managers, as applicable, to enable informed strategy and contract award decisions
6.Reporting and tracking of initiatives
7.Ensure suppliers are enabled and driving transactions through P2P solution
SELECTION CRITERIA:
1.Experience in procurement with strong negotiation/influencing skills (preferably in categories of Corporate Real Estate Services and Corporate Services of Marketing and Professional Services)
2.Sound commercial/contractual skills
3.Good communication and influencing skills
4.Ability to work in a stressful commercial environment to tight schedules
5.Ability to handle uncertainty
6.Delivery focus with some project management skills
