Head, Scorecard and Model Development
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1)To manage the Consumer Bank’s global scorecard and risk modeling team of 20 Modeling Analysts/Team Leaders
2)Recruitment of resources with the appropriate level of skills and expertise
3)Identify training and development needs and having these addressed
4)Managing the projects underway in the department
5)Ensuring the scorecards / models are built according to the Bank’s standards in mythology and quality
6)Scheduling of projects and resources and ensuring that projects are completed on time
7)Ensuring that the appropriate level of input/support is obtained with the Country Credit teams
8)Ensuring that the models are Basel II compatible
9)Ensuring that the scorecards can be successfully implemented within the Bank’s infrastructure
10)Streamline the development process, through the creation of standardized code and the use of model development tools.
KEY MEASURABLES:
1)Development and implementation of scorecards / Basel models, being fit for purpose
2)Scorecard performance metrics
3)Team performance and delivery to schedules
4)No internal audit concerns on the basis of identifiable scorecard / model deficiencies
5)No regulator review concerns on the basis of identifiable scorecard / model deficiencies
