| Job Description |
Portfolio Risk Manager, Medium Enterprise RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Accountable for Risk Management strategy for SME business to support healthy asset growth within acceptable risk- return appetite.
2.The portfolios will include Trade and Working Capital (including Receivables Services), Equipment Financing and Commercial Vehicles Financing products.
3.Anticipate, identify and measure material risks facing the business, plan Risk Appetite in line with strategic objectives of the management and set parameters to keep risk profile within acceptable standards.
4.Improve portfolio quality and optimize risk adjusted return dynamics through management of
new business development of credit policies and risk appetite
5.Portfolio development of effective portfolio management based on segment performance within the portfolio.
6.Development and review of early warning indicators, stress testing and scenario planning
7.End to end credit cycle process design and risk infrastructure planning.
8.Strong business partnership and engagement to ensure alignment and implementation of the strategic agenda.
9.Enable risk return discussion in a transparent manner between risk and business so that informed decision can be made.
10.Provide feedback to business and various stakeholders for input into strategic planning and continuous refinement of business strategy.
11.Ensure that risk management policies and processes including EAR, ASTAR are robustly followed.
12.Uphold principles of Basel II and Risk Appetite framework in day to day risk management.
13.Ensure development of high quality MIS to monitor portfolio shifts and identify risks and opportunities.
14.Ensure MIS decks provide segmentation based on Basel II risk grades and profitability indicators.
15.Provide accurate forecasts on loan impairment through use of sophisticated models.
16.Develop a clear strategy to increase customer level EP through.
17.Decile based credit strategy and customer level risk analytics.
18.Differentiated service strategy.
19.Risk based pricing / re-pricing.
20.Raise awareness and ensure compliance with KYC, ML and other regulatory guidelines.
21.Facilitate development of new systems to improve efficiency and effectiveness of credit processes.
22.Continuous improvement by driving cost effectiveness and automation of credit processes at the same time ensuring high quality of deliverables.
REQUIREMENTS:
1.Professional degree.
2.Good analytical skills and ability to think innovatively.
3.Good communication / presentation skills.
4.Should be able to work with different and diverse teams well.
5.Good understanding of the SME credit life cycle and key drivers of SME performance.
6.Good working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc
