Program Manager

Responsibilities
- Work closely with customers/partners to define program requirements
- Form project teams and conduct project planning, staffing and budgetingactivities
- Communicate program requirements to project team to generate projectscope of works, schedule and work breakdown schedule- Identify and manage project risks
- Prepare proposals and project management plans
- Manage and negotiate the project agreements with customers, partners andsuppliers
- Manage control and lead the implementation of projects and ensure thatprojects are delivered within agreed performance specification, programbudget and schedule
- Conduct management reviews and design reviews
- Generate project management reports and documentations
- Responsible for liaising with external parties on program activities
- Responsible for updating senior management on the project status on aregular basis
- Achieve company's strategy goals and customer satisfaction
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Min 6 years working exp in an engineering firm, with at least 2 years exp in technical project management
- Effective communications and interpersonal skills are essential
- Good negotiation skills and ability to influence
- Good knowledge of defence related products and services will be an added advantage
