Job Description:
Network Planning and Implementation
Maintain a strategic understanding of the existing infrastructure and its relationship to the business.
Evaluate new technologies for compatibility with or enhancement of the existing infrastructure.
Lead internal resources for optimal network design and adherence to company policies. Proactively plan and manage the implementation of network services for company entities globally.
Lead the development of standards for implementing new technologies. Project Manager for complex network design and equipment Proof of Concept implementations. Coordinate network upgrade, implementation, and test plans.
Ensure compliance with international regulatory network guidelines.
Manage peer relationships within various sections of TCS to exceed client expectations and technical needs Client Support
Consult with client organizations to understand their business, technical, and financial needs.
Perform as the customer's interface for all of the company’s telecommunications services Lead technical resource for business application groups that require the use of transport services.
Perform level 3 technical support and escalation for telecommunications transport issues. Assist clients with budget planning for transport services and equipment.
Build teamwork with personnel of diverse cultures and languages across multiple time zones Vendor Management
Creating and maintaining productive relationships with suppliers of telecommunications services to increase knowledge about new network services and equipment.
Evaluate vendor capabilities.
Making decisions and providing proactive decision making involving contracts with suppliers to provide optimal financial and technical benefit.
Develop solutions to share communication facilities among different entities Leadership Team leader when needed.
Provide technical and management support to peers
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in a business, international, or technical discipline.
5+ years of relevant work experience and increasing responsibility. Industry certification related to routers, security, operating systems, etc. are desirable.
Cisco Certification - CCNA
Outstanding leadership, communications, and facilitation skills. Telco Handing Experience. Strong project management skills. Mandarin Language COMPLEXITY / UNIQUE FACTORS
Requires an advanced level of competency in complex networking technologies, transport alternatives, disaster recovery, fault tolerant design, and international standards. International travel is necessary – experience is required. Meetings outside of normal business hours will be necessary to accommodate global client schedules.
Requires the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously each with critical deadlines
Requires management of cross-functional/multi-departmental global projects with many perspectives, cultures, geographies to involve, manage, influence within and the suppliers organization
