NETWORK ENGINEER

SR.NETWORK ENGINEER – CCNP
SKILLS AND EXPERTISE
1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics or Telecommunications Engineering
2. Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in engineering geographically diverse IP networks. Network engineering experience in major international or regional ISPs, telcos or carriers would be highly valued.
3. Technical knowledge/skills in IP networking and architecting enterprise wide, geographically diverse networks for resilience, ease of management, administration, security and segregation.
4. Must possess strong technical skills in implementing and troubleshooting networks.
5. Technical experience in network equipment such as routers, LAN switches, ATM switches, firewalls, gateways, frame-relays and hands on knowledge of various networking schemes and protocol such as OSPF, BGP, MPLS, ATM, HSRP, VRRP, VPN etc is essential. Although not required, skills in various Unix variants, such as Redhat Linux, Sun Solaris or Cisco engineering certification or VoIP (H.323 and SIP) would be advantageous.
6. Good working knowledge of network security requirements and secure network design is essential.
7. Ability to communicate and have good inter-personal skills with all levels of employees and is able to explain complex IT details in terms that are easily understood by company management.
8. CCNP certification is must
