Salvage Engineer/Technician
Job Description:
The Salvage Engineer/Technician will complement the salvage team and report to the Salvage Office/Salvage Master. You are part of the team working on projects all over the world.
• to ensure proper maintenance and functioning of salvage equipment
• to support the team on all technical issues during the project
• to identify problem areas during the project and recommend solutions
Job Requirements:
• Diploma/Certificates/degree in techincal or maritime education
• Min 5 years in a technical marine environment (perferably seagoing experience) having worked with heavy duty diesel engines and possessing electrical proficiency
• Communication skills
• Proactive, hands-on approach
• Solution driven

• You must be self motivated and used to working individually as well as part of the team, putting an honour in
meeting dealines and exceeding the expectations of clients and the organisation.
• You are analytical, work in a structured way, and able to remain focused on the critical path in complex and detailed issues.
• You can manage to stay calm and focused despite being put under pressure.
• You can cooperate and communicate on various levels in and outside the organisation.
• Finally you have a flexible attitude and you can easily switch between diff aspects of the position.
• Your command of lauguage is Engish (spoken and writen), a second lauguage is also preferred.
• The position require (unpredictable) travelling on a frequent basis.
