| Job Description |
Network - Voice Engineer Position: Network Engineer – TCS Voice Planning and Technical Support
Duties:
· Maintain a strategic understanding of the existing infrastructure and its relationship to the business
· Roll-Out of IP Telephony and IPCC in the region
· Lead internal resources for optimal voice network design and adherence to Clients policies.
· Proactively plan and manage the implementation of voice services and voice network for Clients entities globally.
· Project Manager for complex voice technology design, voice network design and equipment Proof of Concept implementations.
· Coordinate voice PABX and network upgrade, implementation, and test plans.
· Ensure compliance with international regulatory voice guidelines.
· Consult with client organizations to understand their business, technical, and financial needs.
· Perform as the customers consultant for all of Clients voice technology related services.
· Perform level 3 technical support and escalation for telecommunications voice issues.
· Assist clients and peers with planning for voice services and equipment.
· Build teamwork with personnel of diverse cultures and languages across multiple time zones.
· Creating and maintaining productive relationships with suppliers of telecommunications services to increase knowledge about new network services and equipment.
· Evaluate vendor capabilities.
· Develop solutions to share communication facilities among different Clients entities.
· Provide technical and management support to peers.
· International travel is necessary – experience is required.
· Meetings outside of normal business hours will be necessary to accommodate global client schedules.
· Requires the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously each with critical deadlines
· Requires management of cross-functional/multi-departmental global projects with many perspectives, cultures, geographies to involve, manage, influence within Client’s and the suppliers organization
Qualifications:
· Bachelor degree in a business, international, or technical discipline.
· 3+ years of relevant work experience in related area and increasing responsibility.
· Industry certification related to Cisco based IP Telephony, Cisco Based Contact Center – IPCC, PABX, voice system; routers, security, operating systems, etc. are desirable.
· Cisco Certification – CCNP / CCNA
· Good leadership, communications, and facilitation skills.
· Requires an advanced level of competency in complex voice technologies, networking technologies, and international standards. Specially in Multi Brands traditional PABX knowledge and new IP PABX.
