Assistant Finance Manager


Our client is a MNC which is the world's largest manufacturer of pump products, with almost 20,000 employees globally. The company is represented by companies in all parts of the world. In addition, their products are merchandised by distributors in more than 50 countries.

Responsible for the overall financial accounting, credit control, management reporting and taxation.

Ensures timely preparation and commentary of monthly, quarterly and annual financial and management reports to corporate and management, including consolidation.

Ensure timely preparation of budget planning and forecast and all the material related to AGM and BOD.

Ensure accounting is carried out in a proper way, and in accordance to legal/fiscal and Group rules and guidelines.

Support the preparation of tax computation and liaison on tax queries for GSI, including review of GST submission.

Ensure the coordination of the annual audit, including preparation of GSI audited financial statement for review by auditors and follow-up work.

Responsible for credit control, including credit checks on customers, monitoring of collection and related sales incentive, preparing monthly provision for bad debts, including compliance to FRS39.

Responsible for managing the direct reports in the Finance Department.

Responsible for managing stock control, including monthly cycle count, annual stock take, review of slow movers and stock valuation reporting to Group Logistics.

Responsible for managing Pricing, including downloading price changes and dissemination to concerned parties, computation for non-standard and 3rd party parts, inter-company purchases and sales.


Degree in Accounting / ACCA / CPA qualified or equivalent.

At least 5 years of accounting experience with 2 - 3 years managerial experience in a MNC reporting environment.

Working experience in ERP system is definitely an advantage. Preferable SAP FI/CO.

Professional skills or certification required for the job role:

Certified Public Accountant

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel.
