Desktop Support Engineer (IT MNC)

A Japanese MNC in the IT industry is currently looking for Desktop Engineers and Service Desk Engineers for their projects with Private, Healthcare, and Government sectors in Singapore.

Work Details:
■ Contract based (renewable)
■ Various locations
■ Roaming and onsite available
■ Salary of $3000 depending on qualifications and experience

Responsibilities:
■ Conduct installation and configuration of hardware and software according to customer requirements and company specification
■ Monitor accessibility and ensure functionality of office network
■ Manage all daily operations of IT services
■ Initiate escalation procedures and ensure customer is well informed of the status of escalation or resolution
■ Diagnose and perform repairs on equipment and solutions physically or remotely
■ Communicate with end users or customers in identifying issues and implement solutions for these issues

Requirements:
■ Minimum NITEC or Diploma in Engineering, Computer Science, or IT
■ At least 2 years of relevant experience
■ Experienced and trained in desktop and laptop troubleshooting
■ Knowledgeable in configuration, management, and monitoring of LAN, printers, and scanner
■ Familiar with installation and troubleshooting of Operating Systems
