FPSO Lead EI


Lead EandI working on FPSO/FSO

1. KEY OBJECTIVES

1.1 Maintenance of the facility’s electrical, instrument and communications system and associated equipment with minimal environmental impact in accordance with legislation, class, flag and the FMS.

2. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

2.1 Carry out maintenance and repair work, shutdowns, isolations and planned maintenance in compliance with the Facility Management System (FMS) procedures and Company Policy.

2.2 Ensure all information entered in logs, reports, maintenance records and FMS is accurate.

2.3 Liaise with Materials Coordinator for stores and spare gear and monitor consumption.

2.4 Supervise and mentor trainees, contractor activities, and ensure work is carried out in a safe and efficient manner in compliance with FMS.

2.5 Ensure Critical Function Test (CFT) tests are carried out as per FMS.

2.6 Ensure Programmable Logic Control (PLC) data is updated and where necessary back up files are made and stored as required. Manage software changes under control of the Engineering Change Request.

2.7 Maintain all electrical and instrument equipment within all applicable codes, regulations and standards. Maintain rating of all electrical hazardous area equipment.



3. KEY AUTHORITIES

3.1 Identify and shutdown unsafe equipment as required.



4. HSE RESPONSIBILITIES

4.1 Work in compliance with all Facility management System (FMS) procedures and Company
Policy.

5. WORKING RELATIONSHIPS

5.1 Works in conjunction with the Electrical Maintenance Technician

5.2 Mentors and assists with the professional development of electrical and instrument electrical trainees



6. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Experience

6.1 Experience in the maintenance and operation of electrical, electronic and instrumentation equipment within the hydrocarbons processing industry.

6.2 Experience with Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Open Transfer Network (OTN) networks, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), electrical generation and distribution systems and hazardous area electrical equipment selection and maintenance.

6.3 Experience using computerised Planned Maintenance Systems.

6.4 Experience with FMS

Qualifications

6.5 International Batchelor Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation Certification and or with other Formal trade qualification (Class ‘A” electrical licence or equivalent).

6.6 Good personal and interpersonal skills, fluency in written and spoken English, culturally aware with experience of working with multicultural workforce preferred.

6.7 Hazardous area electrical trained.

6.8 HV Switching qualifications preferred
