IT Helpdesk Support Engineer


DESCRIPTION

One of our clients in the marine industry is seeking someone who can perform the following responsibilities:

Log helpdesk calls, emails and documentation of all user requests and problem resolutions via helpdesk application
Responsible for performing first level troubleshooting support for problems related to computer hardware and software as well as advise and assistance to users on the usuage of software and hardware
Track incidents and problems from open until closure of the entire life cycle of incident and problem management
Perform set up and installation for IT software and hardware
Schedule, coordinate and implement enhancements and changes such as desktop upgrades, software and application updates and new IT projects
Ensure IT infrastructure and network stability for business continuity
Asset management and routine IT housekeeping services
Update IT processes and SOP
Other ad-hoc assignments and projects
