School Mngt Executive (Biz Development) - Intern


Responsibilities

Sales experience is definitely a plus, however, we are more interested in hungry, self motivated individuals who have that mental toughness/discipline and drive to succeed. He wants positive and forward thinking candidates who are willing to adopt the aggressive but highly proven sales process and take advantage of the increasing need for school programmes and acquire new clients in the rising demand and trend. In this position, you will be responsible for cold calling teachers, HOD and principals from prospective schools to explain our programmes and offer them a systemized and progressive programme that will benefit the young generation. A major focus of our job is to illustrate the value of our programme to the school management versus a firm trying to set up meetings themselves (cost/beneft analysis). You will also be responsible for building a school base, as well as cultivating and maintaining long-term relationships with these clients.

To source for and liaise with potential clients on possible projects

To contact and meet up with at least 5 new clients per week

To create and send out customized proposals to clients within a day of meeting them

To keep track of government projects and send out proposals within stated timelines

To clinch a minimum of 2 major projects (amounting to at least $18k) per month

To create and maintain a database of clients

To liaise with operation team to hand over closed project smoothly for clinched training assignments

To conduct professional presentations when meeting with clients

To submit weekly reports to Sales Manager on work progress

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office

Requirements

With a strong passion and desire to do sales. Preferably be at least 1 year of relevant sales experience.
Possess good interpersonal and communication skills
Self motivated and proactive
Creative and structured approach to selling
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Singaporean/PR/DP Holders only
Basic core competencies / Skills:
Excellent verbal communications skills
Superb 'closing' skills
Fearless - not intimidated by the challenge of 'pitching' a HOD or principal
The drive to exceed expectations and outperform your peers
Develop/build your own client base
Must be self-motivated and be able to work independently
Ability to think creatively, cohesively, independently
You should have a strong entrepreneurial spirit and attitude
Having a strong, successful track record in sales (is a definite asset). However, candidates who indicate a strong desire to develop their sales skills in order to succeed in a sales environment will also be considered.
