About China-Singapore Suzhou Industrial Park Development Group Co., Ltd. (CSSD)

CSSD (Shanghai Stock Exchange: 601512) is the joint-venture master developer set up by the governments of Singapore and China in August 1994. As the main urban developer and the platform for Sino-Singapore cooperation, CSSD has made great contributions to the development of Suzhou Industrial Park (SIP) and functions as a trailblazer for facilitating mutually beneficial international economic cooperation. In 2019, CSSD was successfully listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange.

CSSD has actively implemented national strategies, continuously learned and innovated, replicated and exported the successful experience of Sino-Singapore cooperation. While actively expanding operations within Jiangsu Province, CSSD gradually carried out the projects of new urban development in Anhui, Zhejiang, Ningxia and other places including outside of China. With the theme of new urbanization construction, CSSLAND one of the subsidiaries of CSSD, concentrated on construction, marketing promotion and operations of new regional urban industrial developments. Another subsidiary of CSSD, CS Public Utilities, focused on green utility development, exploring new type of environmental protection. CS SIP Industrial Investment Co., Ltd, our funding arm deals with fund management and direct investments into high potential tech companies as part of our investment promotion strategy.

In Singapore, as part of a strategic partnership with Singapore’s JTC Corporation, CSSD established a new wholly owned subsidiary in Singapore (“CSSD International Business Cooperation Centre Pte. Ltd”) which operates a co-working space cum incubator in the one-north district on behalf of the SIP. The Business Centre primarily focuses on creating an ecosystem for both inbound Chinese investments into Singapore and Singapore-based tech start-ups planning to venture into the greater China market.
