The Standard Club Ltd (Standard Club) is a specialist marine and energy insurer and a member of the International Group of Protection and Indemnity (P&I) clubs, owned by its shipowner members and controlled by a board of directors drawn from its membership.

The Standard Club Asia Ltd (Standard Asia) was established as a subsidiary of the Standard Club in Singapore in 1997 and is regulated and licensed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore. It is designed to provide shipowners in the Asia-Pacific region with P&I (third-party liability marine insurance) and related covers by offering a regional presence within the Standard Group. Standard Asia has  five classes of business (P&I, Defence, Strike & Delay,  the Singapore War Risks Mutual, and the recently established Coastal & Inland class), and has its own board of directors.

Standard Asia is managed day to day by Standard Club Management (Asia) Pte Limited (SCMMA).
