Students will be introduced to the consequences of littering and why they need to keep the school clean. Teaching aids such as a video and learning booklet will be used to help the students better understand how to keep their environment clean. Students will undergo activities to learn how to communicate effectively, listen actively and work together as a team to keep the school clean. Students will be given cleaning tools to conduct a 50 mins cleaning work in school. Lead facilitators and facilitators will have to be with the students ensuring they are practising the cleaning skills being taught in class. Each workshop is 3 hours not inclusive of 20-30 min recess. Remuneration For this NEA Buddy Clean project, we are paying a lump sum of: - Lead Facilitator Fee = $40 for the 3 hours workshop - Facilitator Fee = $28 for the 3 hours workshop Role Progression All candidates will begin as a facilitator.
