We are hiring 1 year Contract Accountant to be outsourced to our clients from reputable healthcare organizations.

Job Responsibilities

1. Treasury

* Prepare a rolling 3-month cashflow projection to Group Finance on a monthly basis

* Prepare monthly cash forecast variance

* Prepare annual budget and projected cashflow statement

* Plan for withdrawal and placement of STP and LTP for optimum cash management

* Manage treasury for optimum cash management

* Prepare annual forecast and budget for finance income

* Review bank reconciliation

2. Accounts Payable – 3rd Party and Intercompany

* Handle ePay-related queries from users and provide guidance on procedures and workflow to avoid delays in payment processing

* Resolve payment issues

* Review AP ageing reports and reconciliation

3. Fixed Assets

* Manage fixed assets, including annual verification exercises, sighting of disposals from other departments, and creation of IO codes

* Review fixed asset schedules

4. Financial Reporting

* Assist Senior Accountant in reviewing operating expenditure entries (i.e. manpower, IT, and other operating expenses) during month-end close

* Liaise to ensure accuracy of entries and adherence to month-end closing timelines

* Prepare monthly OPEX for all cost centres and handle queries relating to expense nature and budget variances (Actual vs Budget)

* Prepare and submit monthly NUHS management reports to the Cluster

* Prepare monthly variance analysis and reporting deck for Manager's review

* Ensure cost centre approvers are updated in ePay, eSundry, SAP PR, and lease portals

5. General

* Coordinate and liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including Shared Services

Requirements:

* Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications

* Knowledge of SAP accounting software is an advantage

* Adequate knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and financial reporting

* Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

* Good communication and interpersonal skills
