Position Title: Occupational Therapist Grade II 
Location: Bright Hill
Working Days: Monday – Friday
Working Hours: 8:30AM – 6:00PM
Salary: $5,000 – $7,000

Job Description

  • Provide Occupational Therapy services for assigned inpatient, outpatient, and home care caseloads.

  • Provide coverage for assigned wards and ensure continuity of care.

  • Conduct initial assessments and periodic reassessments for active rehabilitation and maintenance cases.

  • Develop individualized rehabilitation goals and treatment plans.

  • Perform weekly reviews, treatment updates, and discharge planning.

  • Follow up with patients under supervision.

  • Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and family meetings.

  • Comply with clinical guidelines and ensure proper handover arrangements during leave coverage.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient care.

  • Ensure the safe use of rehabilitation equipment and report defects or incidents when required.

  • Educate patients, family members, and caregivers on rehabilitation techniques and therapeutic carry-over.

  • Provide caregiver training when necessary.

  • Apply evidence-based assessments and treatment interventions under supervision.

  • Handle daily billing and organize caseload distribution.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including assessments, reassessments, treatment plans, memos, and incident reports in the Infocare system.

  • Comply with Nursing Home Standards Guidelines and PDPA requirements.

  • Participate in continuing professional development, in-service training, and community health education programmes.

  • Assist in collecting and maintaining statistical information for regular reporting.

  • Support patient engagement activities and observe referral trends.

Requirements

  • Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy recognized by the Singapore Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC).

  • Registered with AHPC and possess a valid Practising Certificate.

  • Possess a valid BCLS + AED certification.

  • Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in a hospital or nursing home setting.

  • Experience in community care and aged care settings will be an advantage.

  • Postgraduate qualifications in Occupational Therapy or related fields will be advantageous.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Able to travel between clients' homes when required.

  • Experience with interRAI is required.
