Job Description

  • Position Title: Accounts Executive (Full Set)
  • Working Location: Pioneer Road (Walking Distance from Tuas Crescent MRT)
  • Working Hours: 5 days (Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
  • Salary Package: Basic Salary + AWS + Performance Incentive + VB + Medical & Dental Benefits
  • Duration: Permanent Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain petty cash and cash book records and record all cash and cheque receipts and payments accurately in the accounting system.
  • Prepare and process supplier payments, staff salaries and other payments, while monitoring customer Duty Payment, Import GST and Import Duty.
  • Handle a full set of accounts, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, invoices, receipts, journal entries and outstanding payment follow-ups.
  • Maintain the fixed asset register and update depreciation schedules accurately.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and support month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Prepare financial statements, management reports, profitability reports and variance analyses.
  • Review and reconcile intercompany transactions and balances.
  • Prepare audit schedules and supporting documents, and coordinate with external auditors, tax agents and the company secretary.
  • Assist with corporate income tax filings and ensure accounting records comply with relevant statutory and tax requirements.
  • Process monthly payroll, overtime, incentives, CPF contributions, staff claims and reimbursements.
  • Liaise with internal departments and external parties on accounting matters and maintain complete, organised financial records.
  • Provide general administrative support and perform other duties as assigned.

  • Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Finance or a related field.
  • Relevant experience handling full sets of accounts, month-end closing, financial reporting, payroll, CPF submissions, tax and audit preparation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
  • Good knowledge of Singapore accounting, tax and statutory requirements.
  • Knowledge of import duties, Import GST, freight forwarding or logistics accounting will be advantageous.
  • Strong numerical, analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently or as part of a team.
  • Candidates with relevant transferable accounting experience may also be considered.
