Job Description

  • Industry/ Organization Type: Industrial Equipment Manufacturer
  • Position Title: Applied Sales Engineer
  • Working Location: Boon Lay
  • Working Hours: 5 days (Mon – Fri, 8.30am – 5.30pm)
  • Salary Package: Basic salary up to $4,200 + Transport Allowance + Variable Bonus
  • Duration: Permanent Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote and recommend airside products to building owners, consultants, and contractors
  • Focus on growing airside sales and increasing market share
  • Develop long-term relationships with customers
  • Build strong working relationships with customers, especially key accounts
  • Increase business with existing accounts and support customer retention
  • Identify sales opportunities and work with existing and new customers to propose suitable solutions
  • Update sales forecasts on time in the system
  • Handle negotiations, address customer concerns, and close sales. Position Trane as a preferred supplier
  • Carry out other duties as assigned from time to time

  • Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • 1–2 years of experience in engineering sales
  • Experience in the HVAC industry is an advantage
  • Customer-focused, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
