Citi Finance is responsible for the firm’s financial management and related controls.  We manage and partner on key Citi initiatives and deliverables, such as our quarterly earnings process and ensuring Citi’s compliance with financial rules and regulations.  The team comprises chief financial officers who partner with each of our businesses and disciplines including controllers, financial planning and analysis, strategy, investor relations, tax and treasury.

We’re currently looking for a high caliber professional to join our team as Vice President, Asia Citi Treasury Investment (CTI) Business Unit Manager (BUM), Hybrid (Internal Job Title: Funding & Investments Mgmt. The Asia Citi Treasury Investment (CTI) Business Unit Manager (BUM) will work as part of the CTI Business Unit Management team supporting CTI Asia Funding desks located in both Singapore and Hong Kong. Provide daily support and insights, monitor activity and performance vs Plan, develop analytical tools for granular insights into the generated Economic Value, ensure the desk operates in compliance with the relevant internal and external policies and regulations, establish appropriate controls and governance framework for the legal entities. Collaborate with the rest of the CTI Analytics team on broader projects. CTI Asia TSY BUM will work with two Desks located in Singapore and Hong Kong.

The BUM is expected to accommodate complexed demands as derived by TSY needs both locally and at CTI NY level.  The role is expected to communicate and interact with Singapore and HK management, NY leadership team members, ICRM, Audit, Controllers and In-Business Risk team.

The CTI Asia BUM will ensure that all NY and Local Regulatory Requirements (for both CTI SG and CTI HK) and Compliance matters are compiled to. This includes the quarterly MCA process and to ensure alignment to CTI NY’s ACRMs. The BUM is expected to have proven leadership qualities and skillset as the role is expected to participate in problem solving activities and lead/handle ad-hoc requests along with daily BAU monitoring of compliance matters. 

In this role, you’re expected to:

• Daily / Monthly/ Annual Risk and Control monitoring
• Ensure compliance with both local and global regulations
• MCA setup, coordination and testing
• Desk P/L monitoring and analysis. This includes preparation of month end PL reports
• Ad-hoc projects and initiatives

As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:

• Minimum 7 years of experience working for a banking/financial services organization
• Treasury/Treasury funding experience
• Proficiency with standard analysis tools
• Excellent written and oral communication
• Demonstrates thorough knowledge fundamental Balance Sheet and P&L
• Bachelor’s degree, potentially Master’s degree
