Role Intent

This role exists to lead project delivery, strengthen strategic quality, and contribute to business growth. An Associate Director is responsible for leading projects end to end while ensuring that strategic thinking is clear, structured, and continuously improving.

This is a hands-on leadership role. You are expected to actively contribute to the work while guiding teams and supporting the development of client relationships.

What You Do

You lead projects while contributing directly to the work and the development of the strategy discipline.

You will:

• Lead projects end to end across all phases and disciplines
• Define and maintain overall strategic direction across the project
• Actively contribute to strategy development, thinking, and key deliverables
• Step into critical moments to shape outputs, refine narratives, and strengthen work
• Support and build client relationships, working alongside senior leadership
• Identify and contribute to opportunities for account growth and new work
• Support business development efforts, including proposals and pitches
• Lead key client sessions, workshops, and presentations
• Ensure all strategic outputs are clear, structured, and actionable
• Guide and align cross-functional teams across Creative, Digital, and Environments
• Lead and support strategists within the project, ensuring quality and consistency
• Contribute to improving strategy frameworks, tools, and ways of working
• Ensure delivery is on time, on budget, and aligned to intentHow You Show Up

What This Role Is Not

• Not limited to delivery without ownership

• Not responsible for owning client relationships independently

• Not a reviewer removed from the work

This role requires active participation in both thinking and delivery.

Collaboration

You will work closely with:

• Communications and Digital Team, aligning narrative, brand, and digital experience

• Environments Team, ensuring strategy translates into physical and spatial experience

You are responsible for ensuring one coherent experience across all disciplines.

Commercial Expectation

• 70% billable utilisation

• Accountable for project delivery performance, including budget and timelines

• Expected to contribute to business development, with a target of SGD 300,000 in annual

• revenue contribution through originated, expanded, or influenced work

• Strong presentation and storytelling capability

• Understanding of project financials, scope, and delivery

• Proficiency in tools such as Keynote, Google Slides, Miro or equivalent

Qualifications

• 7 to 12 years of relevant experience in strategy, design, consulting, or related fields

• Proven experience leading end to end projects

• Demonstrated contribution to client growth or business development

• Experience working across multi-disciplinary teams

• Portfolio demonstrating strong strategic thinking and delivered outcomes

Growth Path

Success in this role is demonstrated by consistent delivery of high-quality projects, improvement in strategic outputs, and contribution to client and business growth. This role progresses into Director, where responsibility expands into team leadership, client ownership, and broader commercial accountability.

Note: 

1. Although this position is located in Singapore, it will require regular travel to our client offices abroad. 

2. Salary is commensurate with experience.
