Responsibilities:
· Conduct statutory audits of financial statements for a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries.
· Manage all aspects of audit engagements (including statutory and special audits), from planning and fieldwork to completion.
· Handle audit and accounting assignments independently with minimal supervision.
· Assist in the preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules.
· Prepare audit and tax schedules as assigned.
· Ensure timely completion of audit and accounting assignments, meeting monthly budgets and billing targets.
· Apply bookkeeping skills, including the preparation of accounting entries and bank reconciliations.
· Assist with GST filings and registration processes.
· Perform monthly accounts closing and prepare related management reports as required.
· Manage tax compliance matters for corporate clients.
· Support other assignments and special projects as needed.
Requirements:
· Possess a recognised degree in Accountancy or a professional qualification from an internationally recognised accounting institute.
· Fresh graduates or candidates with 1 to 2 years of experience in audit or accounting are welcome to apply.
· Good knowledge of bookkeeping.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; resourceful, able to work independently and as part of a team.
· Able to meet tight deadlines and committed to delivering quality work.
· Excellent command of English with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
· A keen eye for detail.
· Proficient in MS Office and computer applications.
· Pleasant and professional disposition.
· Experience in group consolidation of accounts is an added advantage.
