BARISTA

This role is for you, if you believe you belong in a contemporary workspace and cafe that appeals to pioneers looking for and willing to share and collaborate on new ideas and themes. This is a space that serves consistently good coffee, unique brews and fusion food.

If you take pride in your coffee making and want every cup you brew to be the best, for it to be a symbol of your skill, then this is the place for you. We assure you an atmosphere where you can grow and develop by learning new skills to become an artisan in coffee-making.

Your Role:

In your role as a Senior Barista, you will be part of our growing team as you delve into the engaging world of coffee-making; from preparing, and serving genuinely delectable coffee to creatively adorning your servings with beautiful latte art. You will have the creative freedom to create & suggest brew ideas for the menu & retail.

If you are a barista with over 4-7 years of experience and the willingness to learn and enhance your skills and grow, we welcome your application to join our team!

• You will churn out amazing brews day after day :-)
• You will be trained and mentored by our Head Brewista in the preparation of our delectable selection of espresso and filter coffees and other brews
• You will pick up valuable knowledge in understanding the differences between coffee beans as well as in the use of different brewing techniques and preparation machines
• You will be taught how to maintain the coffee machines at optimum service level through proper operational procedures; how to troubleshoot any breakdowns, perform preventive measures, and professional repair assistance if/when required
• You will learn how to maintain inventories through the replenishment of coffee bean supply, including stocking coffee brewing equipment and maintaining supplies for the coffee bar
• You will come to appreciate the importance of maintaining a safe, clean, and healthy work environment by following organizational standards and sanitation regulations
• You will actively participate in the continuous improvement of our high-quality standards through the study, evaluation, and potential re-designing of processes for possible implementation of changes
• You will understand and appreciate the value of listening by paying close attention to details such as coffee blend, dairy type, and sugar ratio
