BIM Manager

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing BIM processes, coordination, digital construction workflows and project delivery excellence across multi disciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the overall BIM strategy, implementation and execution for assigned projects.

• Develop and maintain BIM Execution Plans (BEP), BIM standards, workflows and coordination procedures.

• Coordinate BIM activities among consultants, architects, engineers, subcontractors and internal project teams.

• Conduct clash detection, model reviews and coordination meetings to ensure design accuracy and constructability.

• Ensure BIM deliverables comply with project requirements, authority regulations and company standards.

• Oversee the preparation and submission of BIM models for client and regulatory approvals.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to BIM Coordinators, BIM Modellers and project staff.

• Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Construction Managers and Design teams to optimize project delivery.

• Drive digital construction initiatives and improve productivity through BIM technologies and innovation.

• Monitor project progress, resolve technical coordination issues and ensure timely completion of BIM deliverables.

• Explore innovation and encourage the use of advanced tools/technologies to expand the use of BIM within the company.

• Support tender submissions and pre-construction planning with BIM-related expertise.

• Ensure compliance with Singapore BIM and BCA requirements.

Job Requirements:

•         Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.

• Minimum 8 years of relevant BIM experience in the construction industry, preferably with an A1 main contractor.

• Proven experience managing BIM processes for large-scale building projects.

• Candidates with healthcare/hospital project experience will have a strong advantage.

• Strong knowledge of BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360 and related digital construction platforms.

• Familiar with Singapore BCA BIM standards and submission requirements.

• Knowledgeable in ISO 19650 standards and BIM execution planning.

• Strong coordination, project management and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to manage multiple disciplines and work in a fast-paced project environment.

• Leadership experience in guiding BIM teams and driving project coordination.

• Self-motivated, organized and able to work independently.

Preferred Attributes:

• Experience in integrated digital delivery and advanced construction technologies.

• Familiarity with healthcare project workflows, M&E coordination and complex building systems.

• Experience in managing BIM for large institutional or mission-critical developments.

• Strong understanding of construction sequencing and site implementation.
