Job Description

  • Position Title: Clinic Assistant
  • Working Location: Island wide
  • Working Hours: 5 days (Rotating Shift)

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and register patients upon arrival, ensuring accurate collection and entry of personal and medical information
  • Schedule and manage patient appointments, follow-ups, and reminders
  • Assist doctors and nurses during consultations and minor procedures as needed
  • Prepare consultation rooms, maintain cleanliness and ensure all equipment and supplies are available
  • Dispense prescribed medications and provide basic medication instructions to patients
  • Manage billing, payment collection, and insurance claims processing
  • Answer phone calls, handle enquiries, and provide information regarding clinic services
  • Maintain patient records and ensure all documentation is updated and kept confidential
  • Support daily clinic operations, including stock inventory, ordering supplies, and general administrative tasks
  • Uphold high standards of customer service, professionalism, and care when interacting with patients and colleagues
  • Adhere to clinic policies, medical confidentiality guidelines, and infection control protocols

  • Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a healthcare or clinic setting is an advantage

  • Willing to work flexible hours or shifts as required
