Job Description

• Industry/ Organization Type: Construction Main Contractor
• Position Title: Construction Safety Manager
• Working Location: Depend on the project site
• Working Hours: 5.5 days (Mon – Fri, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; Sat, 8:00 AM -12:00 PM)
• Salary Package: Basic Salary + Discretionary Bonus + Telephone Allowance
• Duration: Permanent Role

Key Responsibilities

• WSH Act, MOM regulations, NEA guidelines, and company safety procedures.
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards.
• Supervise subcontractors’ work to ensure safe work practices.
• Organize toolbox meetings, safety briefings, and induction training for staff and workers.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses; recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Prepare and maintain WSH records, reports, permits, inspection checklists, and statutory documentation.
• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, and authorities on all safety matters.
• Ensure proper implementation of lifting operations, work-at-height activities, and permit-to-work systems.
• Support emergency response planning and conduct drills when required.
• Promote safety awareness and a positive safety culture among all teams.
• Follow up on corrective actions and ensure timely closure of observations and non-conformance issues.
• Support ISO, CONQUAS, and internal safety audits where applicable.
• Perform ad-hoc duties assigned.

• Diploma or Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering, or a related field.
• Registered WSH Officer (MOM Singapore) is required.
• Registered ECO and ECMO with NEA and PUB is preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in building, condominium, or high-rise residential construction projects.
• Familiarity with HDB, condo, or private residential project safety standards.
• Strong knowledge of WSH legislation, risk assessment, and permit-to-work systems.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
• Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work independently under pressure in fast-paced construction environments.
