Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support the General Ledger team in handling daily finance operations and accounting activities.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, including preparation and review of financial reports and audit schedules.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of balance sheet accounts through regular review and reconciliation.
• Review journal entries, internal charge requests, and account reclassification transactions.
• Review bank reconciliations and investigate outstanding reconciling items.
• Monitor miscellaneous receipts and follow up on unidentified or unreconciled transactions.
• Investigate and resolve finance-related queries from internal stakeholders.
• Prepare and review GST submissions, statutory reports, and other regulatory filings.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors, tax agents, and relevant stakeholders on audit and tax matters.
• Collaborate with cross-functional finance teams to resolve accounting and reporting issues.
• Support and lead process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
• Perform other ad hoc finance duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Prior experience in General Ledger, financial reporting, or accounting operations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems will be an advantage.
