Job Description

• Industry/ Organization Type: Material Handling Equipment Supplier
• Position Title: Control System Engineer (Electrical Control Panels)
• Working Location: East – Ubi (Walking distance from MRT to the company)
• Working Hours: 5 days (Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM)
• Salary Package: Basic Salary + AWS
• Duration: Permanent Role

Key Responsibilities

• Managing integration engineering tasks.
• Developing and implementing electrical circuits from the initial concept, through design, to programming.
• Programming PLCs, with proficiency in brands like Siemens, AB, Omron, Mitsubishi
• Installing, starting up, testing, and commissioning electrical control panels both in-house and on-site.
• Calculating complete costs for control panels necessary for projects.
• Conducting operational and maintenance training for customers and colleagues.
• Creating Operational and Maintenance manuals for completed projects.
• Diagnosing and repairing issues with delivery systems.
• Working independently both in-house and on-site.
• Coordinating with owners, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Meeting customer expectations according to engineering standards.
• Ensuring reports are submitted accurately and on time.
• Perform any other duties assigned.

• Min. Diploma in Electrical, Mechatronics, Automation, or Instrumentation Control System Engineering
• Min. 2 years of experience in the design and troubleshooting of Electrical Control Panels and PLC Programming
• Experience with material handling equipment or weighing systems is highly advantageous
• Hands-on experience in servicing and troubleshooting such systems is preferred
• Ability to read and understand schematic, electrical, and mechanical diagrams
• Must know Auto-CAD
• Willing to travel on short notice if required based on the project
