Roles & Responsibilities

Role Overview

We are seeking a Control Systems Engineer to design, implement and maintain industrial control systems used in automation equipment. The role involves PLC programming, system integration, troubleshooting, and supporting testing and commissioning of automation systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop control systems for automation equipment and industrial applications
• Develop and maintain PLC programs and machine control logic
• Support system installation, testing and commissioning of automation equipment
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and control system issues
• Work closely with software and mechanical engineering teams for system integration
• Prepare and maintain control system documentation and safety compliance records
• Source and specify electrical components for machine control systems
• Ensure control systems comply with relevant engineering and safety standards

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering or related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in factory automation or control systems engineering
• Experience in PLC programming and machine programming from scratch
• Knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, TCP/IP, EtherCAT
• Experience interpreting electrical schematics and control panel designs
• Proficiency in SolidWorks Electrical or AutoCAD LT
• Programming knowledge in C++, C#, or Visual Basic is an advantage
• Experience with SCADA systems and HMI programming is preferred
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Able to work in cleanroom environments when required
• Willing to travel overseas occasionally for project support
