Credit Advisor – Private Banking

Private Banking | Singapore

Our client is an established Asian private bank with a growing wealth management franchise in Singapore. As part of its continued expansion and commitment to strengthening its lending capabilities, the bank is seeking an experienced Credit Advisor to support Relationship Managers and High-Net-Worth / Ultra-High-Net-Worth clients across the Private Banking platform.

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with front-office teams in delivering bespoke lending solutions, credit structuring expertise and financing advisory services to sophisticated private banking clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner closely with Private Banking Relationship Managers to provide credit advisory support and lending solutions to High-Net-Worth and Ultra-High-Net-Worth clients
• Structure and advise on a broad range of financing solutions, including:
• Lombard Lending
• Securities-Backed Financing
• Concentrated Share Financing
• Insurance Premium Financing
• Residential and Commercial Real Estate Financing
• Structured Credit Solutions
• Operating Company Financing
• Participate in client meetings and lending discussions alongside Relationship Managers
• Assess financing opportunities and recommend appropriate lending structures based on client needs and risk considerations
• Prepare and review credit proposals, term sheets and supporting documentation
• Work closely with Credit Risk, Legal, Compliance and Operations teams to facilitate transaction execution
• Monitor market developments and contribute to the enhancement of the bank's lending platform and product offerings

Requirements

• Min 5 to 10 years of relevant experience within Private Banking Credit Advisory, Credit Structuring, Lending Advisory, Wealth Lending or Private Banking Credit Risk
• Strong understanding of private banking lending products and financing structures
• Experience supporting High-Net-Worth and Ultra-High-Net-Worth clients across Asia
• Familiarity with Lombard lending, securities-backed financing and structured credit solutions
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively with Relationship Managers and multiple internal teams
• Ability to balance commercial objectives with prudent risk management
• Strong communication, presentation and advisory capabilities
