About the Role

We are seeking an experienced CRM & Email Marketing Specialist to lead a strategic review and optimization of our email marketing ecosystem. This role focuses on the data, process, governance, reporting, and technology foundations that support email marketing operations. Rather than managing day-to-day campaign execution, the specialist will assess current capabilities, identify opportunities for improvement, and help prepare the organization for future CRM and marketing technology enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

Email Channel Assessment & Optimization

• Review existing email marketing operations from a data, process, governance, and technology perspective.
• Evaluate audience segmentation, tagging structures, campaign taxonomy, reporting frameworks, and data quality.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, reporting consistency, and platform readiness.

Data Analysis & Reporting

• Analyze campaign performance metrics and audience engagement trends.
• Assess email list health, including bounce rates, unsubscribe rates, complaints, engagement decline, and deliverability indicators.
• Develop reusable reporting templates, dashboards, and performance measurement frameworks.
• Translate analytical findings into actionable business recommendations.

CRM & Marketing Technology Readiness

• Review the current Mailchimp environment and identify system, process, and reporting limitations.
• Define business and data requirements to support future CRM and marketing automation initiatives.
• Explore opportunities to connect email engagement data with website activity, event participation, lead generation, and CRM records.
• Support data governance and technology planning initiatives related to marketing operations.

Process Improvement & Documentation

• Assess current workflows and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency and governance.
• Support implementation of selected process and data improvements during the assignment period.
• Create clear documentation, reporting definitions, governance guidelines, and handover materials for long-term sustainability.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing Analytics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Digital Marketing, Business, Statistics, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in marketing data analysis, email marketing analytics, digital marketing operations, campaign operations optimization or related fields
• Hands-on experience with email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp, HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or similar tools.
• Experience working with CRM and marketing automation systems,  (Example: Microsoft Dynamics)
• Understanding of audience segmentation, campaign measurement, data quality, and reporting frameworks.
• Ability to translate business requirements into data and technology solutions.
• Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
• Self-driven, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities independently.

Duration: 6-Month contract (Renewable/Extendable)
