Position: Data Scientist

We are looking for someone who can help support the designing and implementing of deep learning models to solve complex biological problems. You’ll work with high-dimensional biological data, build and maintain scalable ML pipelines, collaborate closely with experimental and engineering teams, and drive model integration into our AI-driven biotech platform.

Responsibilities:

• Design, train, and optimize deep learning models (e.g., transformers, graph neural networks, autoencoders) for biological prediction tasks such as cell behavior, molecular activity, or experimental outcomes.

• Build scalable and modular ML pipelines that integrate with internal R&D and product workflows.

• Work with high-dimensional datasets such as omics, single-cell, microscopy, or screening data.

• Develop robust preprocessing, normalization, and feature extraction pipelines tailored to complex biological inputs.

• Support the CTO in designing and executing AI strategy, model architecture decisions, and data prioritization.

• Partner with wet lab scientists, software engineers, and product leads to integrate ML models into experimental design and platform tools.

• Interpret model outputs for biological insight and guide iterative experimentation.

• Build and maintain clean, version-controlled pipelines using tools like Git, DVC, and MLflow.

• Create visualizations, reports, and presentations to communicate model performance, uncertainty, and biological relevance to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or a related field.

• No minimum work experience required.

• Prior experience in project management.

• Proficient in MS Office / Google Workspace

• Prior experience in building machine learning, deep learning models

• Prior experience in bioinformatics (e.g. extracting insights from biological datasets)

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
