About Us
Access Partnership is the world’s leading tech policy consultancy. We enable consumer access to technology and lead countries to Fair Tech. To do this, we create the environment that allows governments to adopt technologies effectively and responsibly by analysing global trends for the risks and opportunities they create for technology businesses and users of technology, identifying strategies to mitigate those risks and driving opportunities to our clients’ advantage. Our firm uniquely mixes public policy and engineering competencies to achieve our goals. We have offices in London, Brussels, Singapore, Washington —and are growing.
Economic Strategy Practice
The Access Partnership Economics Strategy practice is a team of economists, econometricians, and public policy advisors.
We advise our clients from the private, public, and not-for-profit sectors on the forces shaping their markets, and enable them to make better informed decisions by leveraging rigorous analysis supported by robust evidence, with the purpose to drive growth and improve well-being for themselves as well as the communities they are part of.
We combine the robustness of economic analysis with a practical appreciation of business and government, to support our clients in making and communicating their critical investment and public policy decisions.
We have three broad focus areas: Digital Economy & Trade, Economic Development, and the Future of Work. We are committed to helping solve the world’s most complex problems.
What you'll do:
As a Director within Economics Strategy, you will play a key role in practice leadership, be a though leader, as well as a people and project leader. You will be a thought leader in your area of subject matter expertise, and will use that expertise to contribute to client pitches and proposals, project delivery, mentoring of our team, and to drive the long-term growth of our practice.
As well as being responsible for your own deliverables and schedule, you will also be accountable for leading the work of others. You will be expected to lead multiple consulting project teams, including managing the relationship with our client and planning the work of the team, but the most significant focus will be contributing your individual expertise to problem solving – on technical, and project and client management issues. Your tasks could include developing research methodologies, including systematic literature reviews and primary research design, as well as developing approaches to data analysis, including specifying quantitative economic models and econometric models, drafting and reviewing client deliverables, as well as making client and public presentations. You will be leading multiple large teams, including cross-practice teams, to leverage subject matter expertise from across the organisation in areas such as AI, data governance, and digital transformation.
You will have a solid background in economics and econometrics, and a passion for using your economics training to work with clients to solve their real world problems. You will also be intellectually curious and thrive on playing a role in addressing challenges at the intersection of economics, public policy, and technology. You will be an adept problem-solver, able to support your project teams to arrive quickly at critical issues and guide them on the approach to resolve them.
