• Position Title: Maintenance Engineer
• Working Location: Tuas (Walk distance from MRT)
• Working Hours: 5 Days, Monday – Friday (8.30am – 5.30pm)
• Salary Package: Basic Salary + Transport & Mobile Allowance + AWS + VB
• Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Support the planning and coordination of preventive maintenance activities, including IMTE / calibration for plant equipment.
• Assist in organizing and coordinating scheduled and ad-hoc maintenance for building systems and utility facilities.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, including basic troubleshooting of electrical and instrumentation systems.
• Diagnose and resolve basic faults in PLC-controlled equipment, SCADA, and HMI systems.
• Assist in equipment installation, system enhancements, feasibility assessments, and project planning.
• Coordinate with and oversee contractors during maintenance, repair, and installation activities.
• Prepare technical documentation such as work instructions, approval documents, training materials, and regulatory submissions.
• Assist in spare parts procurement and inventory control, including obtaining quotations, negotiating pricing, and placing purchase orders.
• Support the Technical Department in Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) initiatives, including risk assessments and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.

• Diploma/ Degree in Electrical & Instrumentation, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.
• At least 3 years of related working experience, preferably within the electric & chemical plant environment.
• With understanding of electrical systems and/ or instrumentation.
• Basic to working knowledge of PLC, SCADA & HMI systems, including ability to perform basic troubleshooting and fault diagnosis.
• Familiar with Risk Assessment and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
• With understanding of EHS practices, including ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 9001 standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• LEW certification and AutoCAD software knowledge are added advantages.
