We’re looking to add an Engineer, R&D (Firmware) in Singapore. The position is based in our HQ at Ang Mo Kio.

As an Engineer, R&D (Firmware), you will:

• Innovate and Create value for Next Generation of advance complex precision modules in life science instrumentation.
• Responsible for design, development, testing and debugging of embedded firmware/software of state-of-the-art products
• Design and code robust firmware/software modules to interface/integrate in a complex system.
• Generate and maintain design and test documentation.
• Innovate or develop new/alternative tools to enhance reliability and productivity
• Support development and verification of firmware/software design as per the software life cycle process to meet process and audit requirement.
• Assist the EE and ME team Engineering verification testing activities.
• Lead and participate in various technical discussion, brainstorming session and design reviews.
• Interface with customers where applicable.
• To be the firmware project lead on programs if the opportunity arises.
• Lead project discussions and code reviews.
• Author of specifications, requirements and validation plans for design module assigned.
• Work with Venture Manufacturing team and suppliers throughout the product cycle in a fast-paced environment.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Company.

Requirements

• Masters/Degree in Electronics/Electrical/Computer Engineering.
• Experience in product development.
• Fresh graduate with relevant knowledge/project experience are welcomed to apply
• Familiar with firmware/software development tools, methodology and development lifecycle.
• Proficiency in C, C++, Java and Python programming languages
• Good understanding of computer architecture and operating systems concepts
• Experience or familiarity with ML tools and concepts is a plus
• Hands-on development/debugging/project experience is a plus
• For Senior position, minimum 5 years of related working experience is a plus
