• Position Title: Engineering Assistant
• Working Location: Commonwealth
• Working Hours: 5 days (Mon – Fri, 8.30am – 6.00pm)
• Salary Package: Basic salary up to $3,200 + Performance Bonus
• Duration: Permanent Role

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret engineering drawings to determine machining needs and ensure compliance with technical and quality standards.
• Ensure schedules and quality standards are met. Monitor machining processes.
• Provide technical input on machining and tooling design.
• Analyze current production processes to find improvement opportunities.
• Assist engineers in designing and developing precision components and systems.
• Create technical drawings and documents using CAD software.
• Track project progress and report any issues to the engineering team.
• Coordinate with other departments for smooth project execution.

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Precision Engineering or related field.
• Skilled in CAD software like MasterCAM, SolidCAM, AutoCAD.
• Experience in production planning, costing, and time estimation.
• Strong understanding of machining processes and equipment.
