Responsibilities

• Provide safe and competent nursing care to critically ill patients in a Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit (CTICU) setting.
• Assist in monitoring and assessing patients’ vital signs, clinical conditions, and responses to treatment.
• Support Registered Nurses and the multidisciplinary team in delivering patient care and treatment plans.
• Perform basic nursing procedures including wound care, hygiene care, and assistance with medical equipment.
• Ensure proper documentation of nursing care, patient observations, and clinical interventions.
• Maintain infection control standards and ensure patient safety at all times.
• Assist in preparing patients for procedures and post-operative recovery.
• Provide emotional support and basic health education to patients and their families when required.
• Adhere to hospital policies, clinical protocols, and professional nursing standards.

Requirements

• Minimum NITEC in Nursing.
• Registered with the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) as an Enrolled Nurse with a valid practising certificate.
• Prior experience in ICU, High Dependency, or Acute Care settings will be an advantage.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment and handle critically ill patients.
• Team player with a strong sense of responsibility and commitment to patient care.
