Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement proactive strategies to optimize room bookings, F&B venues, and conference space utilization to meet revenue targets.
  • Contribute to the overall sales strategy, ensuring alignment across departments and maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Conduct competitive market analysis and implement strategies to keep the hotel competitive.
  • Mentor and guide the Sales Team, promoting proactive sales techniques and high-quality standards.
  • Respond to and convert incoming inquiries into successful revenue-generating opportunities.
  • Manage group RFPs, prepare tailored proposals, present to clients, and negotiate to close sales.
  • Maintain accurate data entry for group and meeting inquiries using Delphi FDC.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and delivering customized solutions.
  • Conduct client briefings, meetings, and property tours to showcase the hotel's offerings.
  • Make sales and telemarketing calls to engage prospective clients and secure business.
  • Host potential clients during site inspections and entertainment activities, when appropriate.
  • Collaborate with hotel operations and other departments to maximize revenue opportunities.
  • Prepare and submit weekly sales activity plans and reports to the Director of Sales.
  • Represent the hotel at trade fairs, industry events, and workshops in collaboration with the Director of Sales and Business Development.
  • Coach and train team members, conducting performance assessments as needed.
  • Support the Director of Sales and Commercial Director with other delegated tasks.

Requirement:

  • Proven experience in hotel sales, particularly in the MICE sector.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and develop effective strategies.
  • Proficiency in Delphi FDC or similar CRM tools.
  • A proactive, results-driven approach with a passion for exceeding targets.
  • Willingness to represent the hotel at events and engage in business development activities.
