·       12 months contract

·       Reporting to Chief Accounting Officer

Responsibilities:

General Ledgers Functions & Closing Procedures

  • Ensure general ledger functions and month-end/year-end closing procedures are completed timely
  • Prepare and review financial reports, reconciliations, and monthly schedules for P&L and cash flow.
  • Monitor compliance with company and statutory requirements, including internal controls.
  • Support audits and maintain integrity of accounting records and balances.

Accounting Operations & Reporting

  • Responsible for interfaces with SSC in handling Accounts payable/receivables in an accurate an d timely manner.
  • Responsible for processing of accounting source documents, maintaining of accounting systems and records and producing reports from the accounting system.
  • Monitor balances to ensure integrity and quality of the accounting information.
  • Support review of the performance of accounting procedure to ascertain and verify accounting balances and records. Preparation ofschedules to support financial statements.
  • Support in the accounting processes implementation.
  • Assist in queries to resolve issues from BUs.
  • Support initiatives to improve and streamline processes with SSC.

Internal Controls Testing, Compliance & Other Projects

  • Assist in implementing changes and ensure processes are in place for new and revised policies and guidelines.
  • Support in the ICS roll-out from the entity
  • Support manager for ICS process with HQ ICS department
  • Ensure regular review of process documentation for ICS for the BUs.
  • Review ICS checklist for controls and controls testing and conduct regular review and sample testing.

Requirements

  • A Tertiary degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field of studies
  • At least 3 years of working experience in finance and accounting
  • Strong understanding of accounting standards.
  • Knowledge of Corporate Tax and Goods & Services Tax (GST) regulations.
  • Good proficiency in SAP and MS Office applications.
  • Experience in financial planning, reporting, and analysis.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Well-organized, logical thinker, and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment.
  • Commitment to high standards of excellence.
  • Good communication & interpersonal skills and team spirit.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
