Realtek Semiconductor Corp., located in the Hsinchu Science-based Industrial Park — Taiwan's "Silicon Valley" — began with a small group of young, devoted engineers in 1987. Realtek Singapore has over 150 employees, of which 90% are R&D engineer. Over 60% of Singapore employees joined the company as fresh graduate and mostly graduated from local universities.
