Job description

We are recruiting Locum Physiotherapist for various local healthcare institution in the intermediate and long-term care (ILTC) sector.


Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial assessments for new client admissions
  • Conduct 6-monthly Care Plan and program reviews
  • Conduct InterRai assessments as required (training will be provided if necessary)
  • Prescribe and execute individual and group therapy programs and activities.
  • Assist and engage residents with behaviors of concern
  • Review and revise therapy program schedules with proper documentation
  • Liaise closely with other healthcare professionals to encourage a holistic approach to care
  • Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions
  • Participate in continuing education, training, and research activities when opportunities arise
  • Support Active Rehabilitation under Community Rehabilitation if need arises.

Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma in Physiotherapy
  • Full AHPC Registration
  • At least two years of experience working in a healthcare setting
  • Passionate about Physiotherapy
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in local languages will be an advantage
  • Self-motivated to engage in continuous learning and education in the field of Physiotherapy
